Wiki Skyblock — The Floating Isles
RPG levels and classes
RPG progression
The maximum level is 100. RPG difficulty is set to hard, monsters scale with progression and death does not reset your level. PvP does not grant experience.
Open the interface with /lvl gui. Six specializations are available: Heavy, Blunt, Edge, Fang, Archery and Arcane. They cover heavy, blunt, edged, fast, ranged and magical weapons.
Experience and passives
| Specialization | General direction | Best suited if you enjoy… |
|---|---|---|
| Heavy | Heavy weapons | Powerful impacts and a measured pace |
| Blunt | Blunt weapons | Close combat with maces and hammers |
| Edge | Edged weapons | A versatile melee style |
| Fang | Fast weapons | Mobility and chained attacks |
| Archery | Ranged weapons | Maintaining distance and aiming |
| Arcane | Magical weapons | Using arcane options and effects |
These directions describe weapon families, not a power ranking. Available equipment, selected passives and the content you face matter more than a theoretical tier list.
You gain experience from combat, breaking selected blocks and other activities including taming. Classes unlock a set of passives. Changing class has a five-minute cooldown.
Planning progression
- Test a family with your best current equipment before investing rare resources.
- Coordinate specializations in dungeon parties to cover different ranges and combat rhythms.
- Leave a five-minute margin before an important activity if you need to change class.
- Compare results against the same enemy type: feel alone can be misleading.
Choose a class that matches your equipment and playstyle. Balance values may change without a global progression reset.
