The three professions

The trees also unlock backpack upgrades up to 5 rows, hammers that mine 3x3, multitools and the recipes for thorium and adamantite furnaces.

Level up faster

• Achievements (/succès) give large amounts of profession XP; there are more than 111.
• Guild bonuses: the guild shop offers profession XP bonuses for every member.
• The store also sells an optional, temporary +35% bonus on all three professions.

Talent trees

• Open them with /skills, /jobs or from the /menu.
• Each profession has its own talent tree.
• A bad pick can be undone: the wandering merchant sells potions that reset a profession's talents.

Workbenches, quality and blueprints

• Profession workbenches are at the Castle spawn.
• The same item comes in several qualities; your crafting tier decides the quality you get, including when you craft from a blueprint.
• Recipes use your lower-quality copies first, to keep the best ones.
• Mithril and onyxium gear needs resources from dungeons.

The forge

1. Unlock it with the matching talent in the Artisan tree.
2. Collect forge orbs: they only drop in dungeons, in chests and loot rooms.
3. Merge two items of the same rarity to try for a higher rarity. The Hyltcoin cost depends on your rank and the items' ore.

Professions and RPG level

Your RPG level (/lvl) and class (/classes) progress separately, with their own stats: levelling a profession does not change your class.
