Terms of use
Purpose
These terms govern the use of hylterium.com: news, map, rankings, server status, bug tracking, roadmap, voting, store and tools. By using the site, you accept them.
Playing on the Hylterium servers is also subject to the rules, and purchases to the terms of sale.
Access
The site is free, and most of its pages work without an account. We do our best to keep it available, without being able to guarantee it: maintenance, an update or an outage may interrupt it. We may change, suspend or remove a feature at any time.
Account and username
You can identify yourself in two ways:
- Sign in with Hytale: you sign in on Hytale's official account service, which sends us an account identifier along with the name and identifier of your game profile. We never receive your password or your email address. A session lasts 8 hours at most and ends when you sign out.
- Guest username: you simply enter your in-game username. It stays in your browser and does not prove that the account is yours: it is used to prepare a purchase and to track your votes. Check it carefully, since that account receives the purchases.
You are responsible for what is done with your session. If you think someone else is using it, sign out and let us know.
Code of conduct
On the site, you must not:
- try to access areas or data that are not meant for you, including the staff tools;
- disrupt the site: mass requests, bots, circumventing limits or protections;
- use another player's username to pass yourself off as them;
- use the site for any illegal activity.
If you break these rules, we may suspend your access to the site, in addition to the in-game sanctions set by the rules.
Game data shown on the site
Some game data is public on the site: usernames and statistics in the rankings, guilds and territories, and the position of players online on the kingdom map. The privacy policy details what is shown and how to object to it.
Icon generator
The files you send to the icon generator are only used to produce the icon and are not kept. You must have the right to use these files. We claim no rights over them, nor over the icons produced.
Intellectual property
The site's content (texts, images, logos, videos) belongs to Hylterium or to its authors. You may quote it briefly with a credit, or share a link to a page; any other reproduction requires our permission.
Hytale is a trademark of Hypixel Studios. Hylterium is an independent server, not affiliated with Hypixel Studios.
Links to other services
The site links to third-party services: Tebex for payments, Discord, YouTube, voting sites. They have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or how they work.
Liability
The information shown (status, rankings, map, roadmap) is indicative: it may be incomplete or out of date. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the site.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page, and significant changes are announced on the site or on Discord.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please write to us first so we can find an amicable solution: [À compléter : adresse e-mail de contact], or a ticket on the Hylterium Discord. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
