How to join a Hytale server
To join a Hytale server, add its address to the game's server list, then connect: no mod to install, no account to create on a website. Example with Hylterium, a French-speaking server at play.hylterium.com.
What you need
- Hytale installed and up to date: after a game update, a server only accepts the new version. Hylterium has run Update 6 since 27 August 2026.
- The server address:
play.hylterium.com.
Add the server, step by step
- Launch Hytale from its launcher.
- From the main menu, open the server list.
- Add a server: name it "Hylterium" and paste the address
play.hylterium.com. - Select it in the list, then connect.
- You arrive in the Hylterium hub, where you pick your world.
If the connection fails

Your first minutes on Hylterium
The hub is the lobby shared by both worlds. Your account, pets, mounts and cosmetics follow you on both sides.
- Pick a world: the Castle portal for the MMORPG, the Floating Isles portal for Skyblock.
- Type
/tuto: a screen presents most of the server's features. - At the Castle, two worlds await: the kingdom world, where you settle and guilds claim their land, and the resource world, for gathering. A free RTP around spawn helps you find a free spot.
- On the Floating Isles, your island is created automatically when you arrive.
- Track your goals with
/quetesand/succès. - Invited by a friend? Enter their name with
/parrain, after 30 minutes of play and within 36 hours of your arrival.
