Using the forge
The forge improves or transforms equipment. Base fees depend on the mineral:

The seven forge tiers, from Voyageur to Mythique, raise success from 10% to 55%, critical success from 0% to 20%, and lower critical failure from 30% to 5%. Fee discounts range from 0% to 25% depending on rank.
Before confirming
- Compare the item with the equipment you already use.
- Check success, critical success and critical failure separately.
- Calculate the final cost after your rank discount.
- Keep a replacement plan when the item matters.
- Learn the interface with an item you can craft again.
A higher success chance never guarantees the outcome. Avoid committing all your resources to one attempt and keep the components required for normal progression.
