Mount Update, Skyblock Automation, and Fixes
Hello everyone @🇺🇸 English ,
A new update has been deployed on Hylterium, bringing a major rework to the mount system, improvements on Skyblock, and several quest-related fixes.
Update trailer: https://youtu.be/jB_r-y3pEUo
Mount Rework
Hylterium’s mount system has received a major rework. Progression, food, storage, skins, and customization: your mounts are now becoming true companions that you can level up over time.
Mount Progression
Mounts now have their own level, with progression going up to level 100.
As your mount progresses, you will be able to unlock new storage tiers.
Upgradeable Storage
Your mount starts with 9 storage slots. New slots are then unlocked progressively:
- Level 1 → 9 slots
- Level 15 → 18 slots
- Level 30 → 27 slots
- Level 45 → 36 slots
- Level 60 → 45 slots
- Level 75 → 54 slots
- Up to 63 maximum slots
Each tier gives you +9 additional slots.
New Food System
Your mounts can now get hungry and ask for a specific food item.
When they are ready to eat, you will be able to give them the food they want to help them progress.
Advanced Customization
New options are now available directly from your mount menu:
- Spawn your mount.
- Change its behavior.
- Enable or disable automatic spawning.
- Show or hide its in-game icon.
- Enable or disable sounds.
- Show or hide its name.
- Rename your mount.
This update is a major evolution of the mount system and lays the foundation for many additional features in the future. ✨
Skyblock
We have also reworked automation blocks and the fuel system.
- During a server restart, all your automation machines will now automatically stop.
- They will only restart when a player reconnects near them.
- If no player is nearby, they will remain inactive so they do not waste fuel unnecessarily.
- Added an option in automation block interfaces allowing you to manually stop your machines whenever you simply want to turn them off.
Quests
We have also deployed several quest-related fixes on both servers.
- Added a system allowing you to submit quest items directly from the
/questsinterface. - You no longer need to visit the quest NPC to turn in your items.
- If a quest has no associated NPC, you can now complete it directly from the interface.
- Quest NPCs are now invulnerable.
MMORPG — Guild Note
As you probably already know, we extended the guild inactivity delay to 3 months during summer and vacation season before an inactive guild is automatically deleted.
With Hytale Update 6, planned for next Thursday, we will gradually bring this inactivity delay back down to 2 months. We will also be adding a new technology developed exclusively for Hylterium: automatic chunk regeneration in the Kingdom world.
Here is how the system will work after Hytale Update 6:
- A guild inactive for 2 months will be automatically deleted from the server.
- All of its chunks will automatically be unclaimed.
- For the 15 days following this deletion, players will be able to loot or reclaim the deleted guild’s region.
- After this 15-day grace period, the chunks will be regenerated back to their original vanilla state, as if no guild had ever settled there.
With this system, all chunks in the Kingdom world that are not claimed by a guild will also start automatic regeneration starting next Thursday, at the same time as Update 6. The goal is to make the Kingdom world cleaner, less messy, and more enjoyable to explore.
For existing guild claims, nothing changes for you.
If you have any concerns or objections regarding this new system, please let us know through the Discord ticket system so we can hear your feedback and see what can be adjusted.
Thank you again for your support, and see you at the castle or on the islands! 🏰
